Bishop Shanahan Girl's Basketball Mission Statement

The mission of the Bishop Shanahan Girl's Basketball program is have each girl compete and learn life-long values that will help them mature and succeed as adults. The girls will learn the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork and respect. They will conduct themselves appropriately and live by example. The girls need to accept the responsibility to become the best possible player both on and off the court. The girls will promote winning attitudes by giving their best effort in every practice; challenge themselves to improve and push beyond their limits; and appreciate, support and respect their teammates and coaches. They will remain open minded to change and solicit new ideas that will have a positive impact. They will conduct themselves respectfully. They will be People Of God, People for Other's .  And most important, they will have fun while trying to achieve a Chesmont Championship.
